Feminization of Poverty

The Feminization of Poverty is the trend that shows how women seem to make up a larger portion of the poor than men.  Many reasons can contribute to this.  One is that women earn $.72 dollars for every $1 that a male earns. Women may find it hard to sustain a family with their income, contributing to the factor that they may be in poverty.
